USTP Panaon Campus became a MikroTik Training Academy after Mr. Sigfred Tong, (Leftmost) and Ms. Aire Jade Taga (Middle) joined the rigid training and successfully passed the three (3) Certification Exams conducted and held at Andres Bonifacio College, Dipolog City last November 23 to 28, 2019 by Engr. Roy Pamintalan a MikroTik Certified Trainer and MikroTik Academy Coordinator. Along with the participants were Mr. Gullier Cabatuan, a part time instructor of the same campus, Mr. Joniko Angelo Medina and Mr. Jimvy Salise of USTP Oroquieta Campus and Ms. JC Vanny Mill Saledaien of USTP Jasaan Campus. After passing the three (3) certification exams, they are now recognized as MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE), and MikroTik Certified User Management Engineer (MTCUME). With this, the USTP Clustered Campuses are now recognized as one of the MikroTik Academies in the Philippines.
As part of the MikroTik Academy, USTP Panaon Campus can now integrate MTCNA Course in the current curriculum of BSIT Program under Networking 1 and 2 which is offered in every school year. With this, students can now have a chance to earn their MikroTik Certification (for free) which will surely boost their employment rate after graduation.
